SRA CARES – Creating a World of Difference

THE STORY

Creating a World of Difference

SRA and its employees also participate in the U.S. President’s Service STAR volunteerism program. At SRA, we believe that great things can happen when people and resources come together for a common cause. We actively support communities and humanitarian causes worldwide through corporate giving programs and employee activism. Our award-winning Community Action, Responsibility, Education and Services (CARES) program is just one way we encourage employees to take action in initiatives like these:

  • Education
  • Environmental Protection and Beautification
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Information Technology
  • Law Enforcement/Justice
  • Disaster Relief
  • The U.S. Military

A CULTURE OF CARING

SRA employees have a long and devoted history of giving back to communities. Each year, we recognize an employee with an achievement award for the impact of their volunteerism. We’re also proud to receive the 2007 Trailblazer Award from Charities@Work, a leading coalition of charitable organizations, recognizing our employees and the broad range of charitable choices they can – and do – participate in. Throughout our communities, SRA employees donate thousands of hours to serve special causes. To support their efforts, we sponsor key events and forge partnerships with a variety of organizations.

Key Annual Events:

  • Employee Giving Campaign includes company match when employees reach the campaign goal
  • SRA Family Fun Day and regional Holiday Galas include charitable contributions with proceeds from the event

Priority Partnerships:

  • The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health
  • Junior Achievement
  • The International Red Cross
  • Adopt-A-Highway
